Magecart, an unfair play

Unlike Mario Kart, Magecart is far from being good fun. It’s a dangerous software program, developed by a group of hackers, specialised in theft of banking information. This malware is essentially used for web skimming.

Over the past few years, British Airways and Ticketmaster have become the unfortunate examples of large companies, victim of a massive cyberattack.

380.000 banking information were stolen from the airline and 800 websites affiliated to the online ticketing service were affected wolrdwide.
